: Delaware Corporate and Commercial Litigation BlogU.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas
By Francis G. X. Pileggi, Esq.
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is one of the jurists I admire the most, on both a professional and personal level (and not only because I have a personal handwritten note from him in reply to a letter I sent thanking him for the exemplary biography he wrote.) Here is a recent article that explains his jurisprudential perspective as well as insights from his 18 years on the country's High Court. He is one of the least well-known members of the High Court and in my view he is unfairly treated in the mainstream press. So, it was interesting to read in the linked article not only a positive portrayal of him, but also that he states his plans to have a 40-year tenure on the U.S. Supreme Court. I wish him the best of health.
