Factoring Industry Continuing to Chip Away At Will of Structured Settlement Consultants

By John Darer

ADVERTISEMENTS

DealFlow Media reports that Stone Street Capital is counting on referrals from agents and brokers with clients who own annuities to build the annuity liquidation program.

Clearly showing "tremendous sensitivity" to the structured settlement industry, Gary Milwit  was quoted "that the program does not target structured settlements, but that structured settlement consultants with clients who own other annuities that they would like to liquidate, may find the Stone Street annuity liquidation program of interest". Why would Gary Milwit think that structured settlement consultants would be remotely interested in a company that pushes "Cash Now"?

In my opinion and I believe a growing number of others, structured settlement brokers and consultants should consider avoiding support of cash now pushers like Stone Street Capital on principle. No cash now pusher should be patronized until they stop misleading "cash now" advertising" and, in the case of Stone Street, getting paid testimonials and links from people who are obviously not qualified to give advice on structured settlements that take up shelf space from those that are qualified.
