These days it seems like just about everyone is cruising around on MySpace and Facebook.  Friends, family, employers, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors...er, come again? 

Yep.  Prosecutors are now using damaging pictures gathered from defendants' personal pages to cast doubt on their character during sentencing hearings and argue for harsher punishment. Read the CNN article.

Yeesh.  As if I needed a reminder to remove those ridiculous '80s 'big hair' photos from my Facebook profile!  Like, gag me with the proverbial gavel spoon.

There isn't a jury on the planet that wouldn't convict if they saw those pics of me sporting a rad 'Frankie Say Relax' T-shirt, resplendent with fluoro pink letters, and button-fly acid wash jeans.  Add a raspberry beret and a dozen black jelly bracelets to the mix and I'd be looking at hard time for jaywalking.
