New Title, Same Great Content

It's hard to believe that I've been publishing the Internet Legal Research Weekly for 10 years. The newsletter started out as a way for lawyers and other Internet researchers to learn more about helpful websites and use the Internet to conduct research. Over the past few years, though, the newsletter has expanded to a number of legal technology topics, so much that I don't think the title "Internet Legal Research Weekly" makes sense. So, it was time for a change. I polled my subscribers for new title suggestions, and I received some thoughtful and really creative responses. In the end, I took the recommendation of a family member, who thought I should give the newsletter a more personal brand. So that's what I did. To understand the new title, you have to know more about my name. Many of you have only seen my name here on the blog, in the newsletter, or online somewhere, so you probably haven't heard it pronounced. Contrary to popular belief, it's not pronounced like "Miguel," although I get that a lot. It's a lot easier, actually - it's "Mile," like the unit of measurement. I'm taking advantage of that pronunciation in the new title of the newsletter, which is: The Mighell Marker: A Legal Technology Weekly If you haven't subscribed to the newsletter, now's your chance: just click here to subscribe. Thanks!
