Change: The Jobs of Yesteryear

By admin

ADVERTISEMENTS

Cindy Romaine points to an interesting post:

These Jobs are Definitiely not Future Ready

The Jobs of Yesteryear

Lector
Elevator Operator
Copyboy
Riverdriver
Iceman
Lamplighter
Pinsetter
Milkman
Switchboard Operator
Typist in a Tuping Pool
Typesetter
Telegraph Operator

I was interested that, except for Lector, I have known and worked with people who have held all of these jobs so this isn’t ancient history.

Choosing a career is quite the difficult and interesting task these days. It appears to be true that we will have have multiple careers.
