Prosecutor Under Investigation Takes Own Life

DOJ SealA sad epitaph on the botched Ted Stevens corruption case today: a 37-year-old federal prosecutor who was under investigation for his actions committed suicide over the weekend, according to several reports. Nicholas Marsh had been transferred out of the Department of Justice's Public Integrity section as the government investigated its prosecutors' handling of the case, according to the Blog of Legal Times post here. The BLT quotes Andrew Lourie, a former public integrity section chief who worked with Marsh:
I liked him personally and I liked him as a lawyer ... I thought he was the kind of guy ....
