By Jason Siegel

ADVERTISEMENTS

Today began the first two death penalty trials in Orange County in a year, reported "The Crime Scene," a blog by the Orange County Register.

Opening statements begin in the death penalty trial of Benjamin Watta, charged with raping and murdering a 70 year old woman in 1980.
