Quantcast Audience Profile for LawPundit

By Andis Kaulins

ADVERTISEMENTS
We recently installed Quantcast on LawPundit pages and here are the currently running results:

Gender: 59% of LawPundit readers are male, 41% are female. This is to be expected in the legal field.

Age Groups: 30% of our readers are over 50 years of age, 45% are between 35 and 49 years of age, 22% are between 18 and 34 and 3% are between 12 and 17. We are particularly gratified to see that we have a good age spread among our readership.

Ethnicities: 78% of our readers are Caucasian, 8% are African-Americans, 7% are Asian, 5% are Hispanic and 2% are of other ethnicity. LawPundit, according to Quantcast, has "more visitors of other ethnicities than the average". That does not surprise us, given the international scope of our readership.

Income: 33% of our readers earn more than $100,000 per year, 27% earn $60,000-$100,000 per year, 24% earn $30,000-$60,000 annually, and 16% earn below $30,000 per annum. People in the legal field tend to earn well, but money is not everything.

Education: 24% of our readers have a post-graduate degree, 46% have a college degree (actually, 70% have a college degree, but 24% have an additional degree), and 31% do not have a college degree (more than 100% due to rounding). For those of you out there with no college degree, take heart. My father, Arvids Kaulins, was a very smart man in his own right, who could not continue on to higher education, however, because his own father passed away and he had to support his mother and SEVEN sisters. Education gives us the opportunity to hone our intelligence, but there are many things that people without a college education can do, that people with such an education can often not do. No one is perfect. For every skill that is gained, something is also lost.
