Yeah, I know: the dusters, the freakin' hair!

This live performance is so tight that it might as well have been one man playing all the instruments. And the lead guitarist's solo that commences at the 3:54 mark and carries the song to its flawless conclusion contains not one false inflection, much less false note.

In a time when digital recording manipulation in the studio is required to make Taylor Swift substantially less flat and Katy Perry substantially less sharp, it's hard to remember that not that long ago you had musicians who could legitimately claim the title of "professional" and back it up, live and unvarnished.

The fact that Richard Marx has been married the exquisite Cynthia Rhodes for 21 years only adds to my admiration for the man.
