No, really, I do love him. I'm not a neglectful parent.
This was his choice. He wanted his friend to "laugh his head off" and apparently wearing a black dress sock and a white sports sock with his Spiderman sneakers and khaki shorts would accomplish this goal. No, I think the shorts are a nice touch. Makes certain you notice the socks. It would be a shame if they were hidden under a pair of jeans or sweats or something.
Oh, you were looking at the gorilla face tee-shirt? Umm, never mind then.
