No guts no glory

Softball Tournament weekend is a lot like journal tryout weekend.  Except it's the exact opposite.  All we did last year was walk around and watch games while drinking Pepsi and eating sunflower seeds.  It was glorious.  It's pretty cool to watch some of the best men's and co-rec teams play because they're actually good.  Unlike your section team, the second basemen on these teams can field.

The only bad news is the weather is not expected to cooperate, with thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday.  Should make for some interesting sliding conditions.  Despite the rain, however, the biggest mistake you will make is spending this weekend in the library.  We're terrible sportswriters, so if anyone wants to help us out and cover some of the tournament, by all means send in your game recaps or color pieces or whatever.  You know we'll run it; we're also terrible editors.
