The Wedding: A Recap

By "Daisy Duke"

ADVERTISEMENTS
This weekend myself, BISMOW, and some other law school friends (including blogging compatriots The Artful Blogger & Anonymous Hottie) attended the wedding of one of our close law school friends. At a location a few hours away, the (beautiful!) Legal-Beagle-Bride married a wonderful guy, the ceremony was touching & the reception was, well, booze-filled & lovely. Because my brain really isn't working on all levels I'll give you the weekend rundown in sketches, if you will.

The Ceremony (Which was not, incidentally, located 5 minutes from the hotel as originally thought. Try 35 minutes away in the middle of a part of America with apparently no signs or 3g iPhone network)
Prior to the reception......luckily the Law School Crowd From The Big City was seated together, far far away from the priest, but tragically close to the parents of the bride. Sigh. Only fifteen minutes into the ceremony it turned into this......at least thats what she said.... And the overall feeling/conversation at the breakfast the next morning, during which Arms ate more food that humanly possibly, BISMOW hardly ate half of an egg sandwich, I recounted an interesting and Risky Business-esque encounter the night before,  and Anonymous Hottie had a horrifying discovery of her biscuits & gravy having a mint after-taste:
Check back tomorrow for a Monday Morning Reader Poll regarding another fascinating aspect of wedding tradition.......
