Sick

ADVERTISEMENTS
Being at Useless Law School really stinks this time of year, it seems like everyone else is already done with school this year, but yet all of the lucky students at Useless Law School have a final week of exams to look forward to this week instead of more fun things, like doing nothing.

And to top it all off, I'm ill.

I think I've come down with 3Litis, a condition that usually plagues law students in their last year of law school in which one loses all desire to study for law school exams or care about law school in general.

Symptoms I'm exhibiting of 3Litis: My crim pro exam is today, in T-minus 5 hours, and I have studied for a grand total of 2 hours prior to today. I haven't outlined, and now I'm sitting at Starbucks "cramming" with the combination of a commercial outline and an outline from another student. The thing is I don't even care if I end up getting a C, I'm just kind of over grades, law school is a crapshoot and I'll take what I can get, thank goodness I want a job that doesn't really care about grades.

After this exam is over today I'll get to spend about a half a day writing a half-assed answer to a take home exam for a class that I've really already secured a B in and then I'll get to move on to cram for my legal profession final. Everyone I know has told me not to waste my time studying for that one cause it's the biggest crapshoot exam of anything they've had in law school.

I hope the rest of you lucky bloggers out there in the world who are done are enjoying yourselves. And if any of you out there are still in school, trust me I feel your pain, it'll be over soon enough (I hope!)
