I cancelled my lunch plans today in order to go on an impromptu interview this afternoon. Agency called at 10:30 a.m. about this sweet gig that wanted to start interviewing "as soon as possible." I told them I could be there at 2 p.m.Take the train into town, wait about 15 minutes in the lobby, then sit in with the very nice General Counsel, when he immediately asks, "How many contracts have you drafted?" I reply that while I took a drafting course, I haven't drafted any in practice. Answer: "Well, didn't the agency tell you I was looking for a contract drafter?"
