Raptors run 10 m/s and do not know fear

ADVERTISEMENTS
It's been two months since I interviewed a four year old. His favorite snacky is now Oreos... not Cheerios.

Also, among the dinosaurs, he would now prefer to have a Velociraptor live in the house. When I pointed out the raptors are vicious soulless meat eaters who can open doors, he didn't mind because it would not eat him, though it might eat me.

Feeling some sense of remorse for my inevitable demise, he proceeded to line up several plastic dinosaurs in front of me as protection from the incoming Velociraptor. He gave me a Kentrosaurus and a Stegosaurus.

He gave me little plant eaters with spikes on their backs. Like they could do anything to protect me in a raptor attack.

F**k that. I saw Jurassic Park. I want a damn T-rex.

First, I didn't start this post to say this, but I was sad to hear Michael Crichton died. I started reading his books when I was in high school, and though I didn't love all of them, they were consistently page turners that resulted in many hours of lost sleep.
Real velociraptors apparently had feathers, which makes them look much less badass than the movie portrayed.
Post title is an xkcd reference.
