Ohh-La-La

ADVERTISEMENTS
I'm home-ward bound! Excited for April (the new job and of course the Month of the Alleged Lady, followed closely by none-other than the MOD or Month of Daisy) and hoping that upon my return Chicago has finally warmed up.

And I shall close with a recipe for some of the simplest yet tastiest barbecue sauce you have ever had. With spring comes the dusting off of the grill and this sauce will make your grilled chicken out of this world:

1 cup of ketchup
3 tsp chili powder
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
1 small finely diced onion

1 package chicken (Typically I grill breasts & drumsticks)

Add all ingredients & bring to a low boil in a small sauce pan. After it cools, transfer to a gallon-sized freezer bag along with the raw chicken. Allow to soak overnight. Remove chicken from bag & transfer to the grill. Pour remaining sauce into small sauce pan & bring to a boil, occasionally brushing onto the chicken as it grills over medium heat. Delicious!!
