We came home today to find the wii completely dead--no power at all. Tried turning it off and on and then tried unplugging it for a bit. Nothing. Looked at the owner's manual, and it said to do pretty much what we had just done. We were already mourning the loss of our beloved wii when I found the cs 800 number in the back of the owner's manual. And miraculously, the line claimed to be open
