: Jolly LawgerMultiple Choice Fact Pattern:
By Steve Pirates
Back in February of 2007, I went to Guitar Center to purchase a Gibson Melody Maker with two singlecoil pickups. They didn’t have the guitar in stock, so I special ordered it. I gave them the price of the guitar, and they gave me a receipt.
In May my guitar arrived (Gibson is notoriously slow). They had sent the wrong one. So, Guitar Center had to sell that to someone else, and re-order my guitar. Last week I called them to check on my order status and they informed me that the Melody Maker had been discontinued, and my order would probably not come in.
Today I went in to Guitar Center to see if there was another guitar that I might be interested in, or a bass, or something else cool. There really wasn’t.
Now, keep in mind, I have about eight (8) guitars, two (2) basses, a few amps, and I am in fact a drummer. So, I really didn’t need anything from there.
Since, I didn’t find anything I liked, I canceled my order. I then took that money and went to Macy’s and bought a suit for interviews and an upcoming 1L “opening/closing” competition.
I am:
A) A Sell-Out
B) Old
C) All of the above
