Link: Tribune Company Files Bankruptcy. OK, perhaps there are any number of reasons why this happened, and not just the death spiral of its newspaper holdings, but I suspect that this is a harbinger of things to come. The brave new digital world will continue to wreak havoc on all that has come before it--call it economics 101.
Why? Because we are at an economic inflection point that is more profound than the change brought on by the industrial revolution. The rules are being written as we speak. Those that grok the new grammar (i.e. the "Digital Haves") will have a significant competitive advantage over those that don't (the "Digital Have Nots").
