Deserving better

9/11. I don't really want to talk about it. I wasn't going to post at all today. But I just had to comment on Superpoke.

For those of you who don't know, Superpoke is a Facebook application that allows people to post little messages their friends with everything from 'wish Happy Birthday' to 'karate chop' to PG-13 actions that are often beyond my comprehension. (People's elbow? Motorboat?) It also allows you to throw everything from sheep to political candidates at each other (I was recently 'poked' with Palin) and celebrate random holidays ("Celebrate Groundhog Day with").

But I think Superpoke crossed a line. Someone poked me with "Remember 9/11 with."

I just don't think that's remotely respectful.

But I don't really have the energy right now to do a full blown rant. I kind of envy TrannyHead -- she can get totally incensed about anything. My righteous rage button is broken I guess.
