ADVERTISEMENTS
Did you know that it is possible to have a coffee hangover? I studied at the sports bar with a friend last Thursday, up until the Packer game started. While studying for a few hours before the game we both downed a pot of coffee. Then once the game started, the bartender brought over a huge carafe of coffee and left it on our table for us. We drank the entire thing empty during the game, which caused me to get a little more riled up than normal (but that is a story for another time). Anyway, I could not sleep the entire night. I tried everything from exercising, to taking a bath, to watching stupid tv shows, and nothing helped me sleep. I ended up with about 3 real hours of sleep Thursday night. I woke up on Friday with a horrible headache, and I felt like I was going to throw up. I went to make a cup of coffee, but the thought of it made me sick. I basically had given myself a coffee hangover, that lasted well in to Friday afternoon!Once I got over my coffee hangover I typed like crazy all Friday and Saturday. The result is a 30+ page international tax paper. I cannot believe that I actually got myself to write a paper three weeks before the deadline! So I am turning the sucker in tomorrow morning, and then focusing on outlining for my three finals.
