Today’s assigned reading is a classic case of legalese diarrhea.  If I were a scholar in Old English, I would have been thrilled.  I am not.  Nor was I jumping up and down in joy while reading about recording statutes and mortgages.  Thank goodness I have taken Secured Transactions before, else I would spend more than seven hours trying to figure this thing out.

Exhausted from last night’s exertions, I took an one and half hour nap.  Outlines three essays, leaving the last one for the weekend.  My ego has taken a beating from failing consecutively on corporations essays.  At times I kind of figured out the issues in the fact pattern, but I put the theory in the wrong issue.  Only after sitting down and carefully delineating the model answer did I finally understood why the theory I had raised was a non-issue.  The reason for this failure to cite to the proper theory is that I am not looking closely at the material facts and I am definitely to familiarize myself with the terms and nuances of the key themes mentioned in class.
