Tap tap Tap... anybody there? On Monday I just kind of started "working" at my "new job" at "The Firm" and it just so happened to coincide with a few other small things like a national presidential election, my parents and grandparents coming into town, and the week I get sworn in as a real-live-malpractice-insured-lawyer. So I'm sorry. Lets not speak of this again, ok?

In short, the job at The Firm is going well although I probably won't be blogging all that much about it due to concerns about being "outed" or inadvertently sharing too much. I will say that I get to do a mix of all the things I really enjoy and that billable hours? Were invented by the same man who invented panty hose. I think his name was Satan. Outside of keeping track of my every six minutes (SIX. MINUTES. WTF?) everyone seems great, my corner office is all that I could dream for, and I'm very happy to be there.

Don't forget to pick up a copy of Chiefs by Stuart Woods and to send me your review of Strange Piece of Paradise over the weekend.

I know this was short, but I am alive! And well! And will be coming back to regular blogging shortly!

Now excuse me while I go put on a suit and get mah-self legitimate with the Supreme Court of Illinois.
