The Ky. State Senate approved SB 25 Thursday, which would prohibit shock probation for DUI convictions where someone was killed. A similar prohibition already exists for violent offenses. ?They may not be violent offenders, but their victims suffered a violent death,? said Sen. Jack Westwood, the bill?s sponsor.
