Seit Herbst 2007 bietet der Exzellenzcluster der Universitäten Trier und Mainz mit wachsendem Erfolg ein spezielles Fortbildungsangebot für junge Wissenschaftler an: die Trierer Summerschool “Network Analysis in the Humanities and the Social Sciences“. Die Summerschool richtet sich an Studienabsolventen und Doktoranden, die sich mit der Theorie und Methodik der Sozialen Netzwerkanlyse vertraut machen wollen. Ein Filmteam begleitete die zweite Summerschool vom 29. September bis 4. Oktober 2008 und sprach mit Organisatoren und Teilnehmern.
Die 3. Trierer Summerschool ist bereits in Planung und wird vom 07. bis 12. September 2009 in Trier stattfinden. Informationen zum Angebot gibt es unter tsna@uni-trier.de sowie auf der Homepage des Exzellenzclusters.
