Wenn es nach dem Juristen Fredrik Heffermehl geht, dann waren die Nobelpreise an Mutter Teresa und an Al Gore nicht rechtens.
Sie verstoßen gegen das Testament Alfred Nobels, argumentiert der Norweger.
Weder der Klima-Vorkämpfer Gore noch Mutter Teresa hätten eines dieser Kriterien erfüllt, sagte Heffermehl. “Von einem juristischen Standpunkt gesehen, war Mutter Teresa weit davon entfernt, eine Verfechterin des Friedens im Sinne Alfred Nobels zu sein.” Auch der Verfasser der Allgemeinen Erklärung der Menschenrechte, René Cassin, oder der Mediziner Albert Schweitzer verfehlten laut Heffermehl die Kriterien des Preisstifters. Seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg habe sich das Komitee aus “privatwirtschaftlichen Interessen” und wegen der Einflussnahme norwegischer Parteien immer weiter von Nobels Vorgaben entfernt, kritisierte der Jurist.
