I've been moonlighting: Airlift Ventures and AFB

I realized it's been over a week since I've posted here on Coderights. I thought I should give you a little update.

While Coderights is still my first love, I've been moonlighting on a few new sites. The first, I'm proud to tell you about, is Airlift Ventures (available at airliftventures.com). Airlift lets you play angel investor. It pretends to be a brokerage where you can fund and cash out of investments in startups. It uses traffic metrics to value the startups for now, but will get more sophisticated in the future.

My hope for Airlift is that it will be good at teaching you and I about the shadowy world of angel investing.

Second, I have a higher speed / less formal companion blog that I've been keeping for the past month called, unsurprisingly, The Angel Finance Blog (available at angelfinanceblog.com). Both AFB and Airlift are in their very early revisions, but look for tight integration between the two in the future.

On the school front, classes are much easier this year because they are all related to business, money, or IP. However, the intellectual challenge has dropped a bit too. I'm still struggling to find the kind of intellectual challenge that constitutional law and my other classes from last semester posed in these classes. I have quite a bit more to say about that, but not right now.
