The Hurricane Forecasts for this year are being reduced. Now we can expect about 10 named storms (I hope we get to G this year as we could all use a year of Grace) and 4 hurricanes.
In 1969 we had no hurricanes as of this date. However, that situation changed in early August. By mid August we had Hurricane Camille (August 17).
