Gomex Portugal-born Dr. Maria Gomes-Solecki is the founder of Biopeptides Corp., a biotech firm that is testing a vaccine intended to protect people from Lyme Disease. Dr. Gomes-Solecki recently relocated her research team to my hometown of Memphis since her husband moved her to work at the world famous St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
