IMMIGRANT OF THE DAY: GABY MORENO - COMPOSER

By Greg Siskind

ADVERTISEMENTS

I've started watching the new, very funny Parks and Recreation on NBC with former Saturday Night Live cast member Amy Poehler. The show has a very catchy theme song so I decided to go online to see if I could download it. It actually took a little digging around, but I found that it was written by Guatemalan-born Gaby Moreno. She's got a great voice even though the NBC song is an instrumental. Check her out here. I still haven't actually found the theme song online for download, unfortunately. UPDATE: Found it here, though it is kind of cut off.
