: Greg Siskind's BlogFRAGOMEN FORCES DOL TO BACK DOWN
By Greg Siskind
ADVERTISEMENTS
Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen and Loewy has prevailed in its effort to get the Department of Labor to reverse its audit of the firm's PERM applications and to clear its name. In a settlement agreement approved today by the court, the DOL has been forced to withdraw the ridiculously unfair press releases announcing the audit of the firms' clients PERM petitions. It has released all of its cases placed in to audit. And the DOL has been forced to go back to the long standing policy that attorneys can provide legal advice to their clients throughout the PERM process. Congrats to the Fragomen lawyers on this win. It's a win for the whole immigration bar as well.
