BREAKING: JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WON'T DEFEND DEFENSE OF MARRIAGE ACT

The discriminatory law that bars conferring any federal benefits - including immigration benefits - on same sex couples looks headed for the trash heap of history. There are major challenges in the courts right now and the Justice Department decision now makes it much more likely the law will be ruled unconstitutional. If that happens, then USCIS would have to recognize marriages for same sex couples if they are legal in the locations where they occurred.
