Texas Bar Journal: Chair's Column & Patent Litigation Update

By Michael C. Smith

ADVERTISEMENTS

TBJCoverJanuary2011 There are a couple of items in this month's Texas Bar Journal that readers might be interested in (link is to the digital edition, or you can locate individual articles here.  The first is my chair's column on p. 8 PP which relates putting out a magazine to renovating an old building (can't imagine where that idea came from, right?).

The other is an article, Patent Litigation Update that I did as part of the magazine's cover story, 2010 Year in Review.  ContentDisplay The article is at p. 39 of the magazine, or p. 24 of the PDF copy of the article here.

Special thanks to the Federal Circuit, who got all the year's venue mandamus opinions out before my article went in, ands then helpfully waited till after the end of 2010 to issue Uniloc v. Microsoft, so while my article is already out of date, technically it's not inaccurate because I was just updating on events in 2010.  Uniloc will go in next January's update.
