: Dispatches from the Culture WarsFunny New Blog
By Ed Brayton
A new blog called Is It Luck? has been started by a longtime Dispatches reader I was lucky enough to meet in Washington DC last fall. You have to love a blog that baptizes Mormon leaders into the Church of Perpetual Sodomy. And who can argue with benefits like these:
Is It Luck is pleased to announce that Moroni, Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and Gordon Hinckley have been baptized into the Church of Perpetual Sodomy. It is the dearly-held belief of the Church that these men are now cleared to enjoy an eternity of sodomy in either the City of Saint Francis or the Island of Fire, depending on their behavior during their time on Earth. Those lucky enough to make it to St. Francis's home can bathe in the golden showers of St. Freddie Mercury, while those on the Island of Fire have to hang out with Roy Cohn.
This should be a fun blog to watch.
