Final Four Begins

By Ed Brayton

ADVERTISEMENTS

It's almost tipoff time for the final four. MSU takes on UConn in the first game, Carolina goes against Villanova in the second. I'd just like to point out that I did a lot better than President Obama in picking the teams. Three weeks ago I predicted that MSU, UConn, Pitt and Carolina would be in the final four. I got three out of four (and only missed the 4th because of Villanova's last second shot to beat Pitt).

I also predicted then that the winner would be whoever won between Carolina and Pitt in the semifinals. I'm sticking with Carolina as my pick. I just think they have too many weapons. As for the MSU-UConn game, as much as I'd love to pick MSU, I think UConn is just too talented. But boy would I love to be wrong. Go Spartans!
