Ed Whelan: First Class Asshole

Ed Whelan, the right wing judicial attack dog who often writes for the National Review, has outed himself as an asshole by outing a formerly anonymous blogger. He outed Publius from Obsidian Wings as John Blevins of the South Texas College of Law, who responds here. This is a pretty despicable thing to do.

It's one thing to out someone who had actually done something wrong and is hiding behind anonymity to get away with it; it's quite another to out someone because they dared to criticize something you said, which is the case here. Blevins now points out the reason why he blogged anonymously:
