                                                                        Non-violent felons let loose on the roadways!As of July 1, 2008, Felony DWLS is history for anyone who does not have a prior forcible felony conviction.  Non-violent HTO defendants charged with DWLS now face 1st degree misdemeanor penalties.Sorry to our beloved pals at the SAO.  Apparently the legislature has recognized that imprisoning non-violent offenders for driving offenses without taking into consideration whether they have ever caused any accidents is nonsensical, socially and fiscally expensive, and just plain mean...continue to full post
