: Harmful ErrorCompetency arguments postponed
ADVERTISEMENTS
The Nevada Supreme Court had postponed oral argument in two important writ proceedings concerning competency determinations in the Eighth Judicial District Court. Although Scarbo v. District Court and Roebke v. District Court present important constitutional and policy issues that impact numerous cases involving competency determinations, oral argument has been postponed at the request of the Clark County District Attorney's Office. Argument was scheduled for July 14, but will now take place in September as the office of well over 100 attorneys claims that no one is available to attend oral argument in July.Full post as published by Harmful Error on July 10, 2008 (boomark / email).
