New Site Help

By David Packman

ADVERTISEMENTS
I'm hoping to have the new site up sometime this weekend.

But, in the meantime, I'm opening up the floor for suggestions/help with certain things.

1. Resource links - I still want to supply links for victims of police misconduct to, possibly, find help. Namely, mostly legal resources since there aren't any support groups yet for police misconduct victims. The problem is that the links I have are mostly local, now I need national links. So, any recommendations for where I should base those links to? Should I refer to the National Lawyers Guild for civil rights attorneys or refer people to legal search sites like AVVO? What about criminal defense attorneys? Any other resources people can think of that I should add as well?

2. Wordpress - I'm still trying to get up to speed with the new blogging software. So, if anyone has any advice about their favorite must-have widgets, plugins, themes, or anything else... please feel free to let me know!!! I could use some help with that part!

3. Contributors et al - A few people have offered to help in a variety of ways... so if anyone still wants to help, like by being a contributing author or whatnot, please feel free to drop me a line via email and let me know what you would like to do for the site and some info about what your ideas might be.

Thanks again! and stay tuned!
