One issue with which I struggle in teaching is how to engage students in business classes when most of the students lack any job experience. Often I try to use business examples that may be relevant to them. An additional step that I take is to provide supplemental readings for them. I recently read an excellent managerial economics textbook that is accessible to law students that uses lots of examples that help to explain the economic theory. The book is Managerial Economics: A Problem Solving Approach by Luke M. Froeb and Brian T. McCann. Does anybody have suggestions for additional materials to keep on reserve as a primer for students?
