The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of almost 800,000 child seats because the harness may not effectively protect the child. The child seats were made by the Dorel Juvenile Group and were sold under the brand names Safety 1st, Maxi-Cosi, Cosco and Eddie Bauer. Last year the NHTSA received reports that the restraining straps on the seats had loosened during travel. |
