ADVERTISEMENTS
Please don't learn the hard way when dealing with contractors who do work on your home. If you make a change to the original contract have them put it on paper and sign it.Oral modifications of a contract will not hold up in court and you will be left without the work you expected. Most of the contracts that people sign will have a clause in them, if they are drafted properly, that only modifications that are in writing will suffice and not verbal.
Put it in writing and have them sign it!
