Bankruptcy AZ; Proximate Causes of Bankruptcy in Arizona

By Joseph McDaniel, Esq.

ADVERTISEMENTS
The second most common proximate cause of a consultation concerning a consumer bankruptcy in Arizona is notice of a Trustee's Sale.

A Trustee's Sale is used by mortgage holders in Arizona because it provides a summary technique to swipe your house quickly and efficiently, with little fuss or muss or recourse to those icky Courtrooms, which the Mortgage Company or Bank likes about as much as you do, for similar reasons; a Judge wants to examine the facts before she makes a ruling, and the Mortgage Company wants to make the process of grabbing your house from you as fast, cheap and painless (for them) as possible!

And it's hard to squeeze all the compassion out of Judges; it shows up when you least expect it.

So once a Trustee's Sale has been scheduled it is important to get your dead behind moving; you have lived in a dream world for a long time, and now it's time to make plans for your life after bankruptcy!

And the intermediate step to a world without harassing creditor phone calls, and in a house that's not two hundred thousand dollars upside down, is your Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Arizona.

If, of course, you qualify for such a proceeding under the mean, mean Means Test.

Now, you've put off thinking about your problems for a long time, and that's fine by me. Adjusting to the new reality is now as easy as it might be.

But if you want me to help, get your rear in gear, call my office, and get your homework done before you come in to see me.

Do the homework; it will take a load off your mind, and put a load on mine.
