: FinancialCounselEccleston Law Launches Investigation of New York Investment Firms Following SEC Fraud Charges
By James Eccleston
The attorneys at Eccleston Law have launched an investigation into three affiliated New-York based investment firms and some of their officers following SEC charges of fraud and misuse of client assets involving their $66 million client advisory business.
The SEC recently charged that William Landberg and Kevin Kramer, through the firms West End Financial Advisors, LLC, West End Capital Management, LLC and Sentinel Investment Management Corporation, misled investors to believe that their money was in stable, safe, income producing investments.
Contrary to these representations, Landberg misused the investor assets to prop up some of their cash starved businesses and misappropriated at least $1.5 million for personal use. In addition to this fraud, Landberg fraudulently obtained bank loans to make distributions back to investors to maintain the illusion that the investments were performing well.
Eccleston Law represents individual and institutional investors to recover their investment losses caused by securities and investment fraud. Our attorneys also help victims of Ponzi schemes pursue recovery by submitting claims with receiverships established by the SEC and by assisting victims with the filing of a Theft Loss Tax Deduction with the IRS.
If you have lost money investing with William Landberg or Kevin Kramer, or in West End Financial Advisors, West End Capital Management, or Sentinel Investment Management Corporation, your losses may be recoverable through arbitration. Please contact Jim Eccleston at the Eccleston Law Offices at 312-332-0000 to discuss your case.
