Making Better Decisions

By admin

ADVERTISEMENTS

If there is anything about managing libraries that is essential, then that is decision making. How do we mak better decisions?

Resolved: Make Better Decisions in 2011

1. Use Both Emotion and Logic
2. Schedule Your Important Decisions
3. When You Ask for Advice, Avoid Your Own Bias
4. Any Decision is Better Than No Decision

Some good advice in the Lifehackerpost.

I’d simply add these two:

5. Don’t delay. Every decision delayed beyond its best-by date is a lost opportunity.
6. Make the decisions that matter asap. Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize.
