The ABCs Will Help X2N Explore Improved Patient Care

The X2 Healthcare Network (X2HN), a nonprofit group of women healthcare executives dedicated to improving all aspects of healthcare, announces Markle Foundation managing director Dr. Carol Diamond, MD MPH as the round table guest at its fifth annual meeting. 

Dr. Diamond will talk about Blue Button, a Markle program that allows patients to download their health records. Diamond and the other X2HN members will expand the discussion to look at how new technology is empowering patients to be more in charge of their health.

Attorney and author Victoria Pynchon returns to X2HN to continue teaching conflict resolution in a two-part workshop. She will discuss her newly released book, A is for Asshole: The Grownups' ABCs of Conflict Resolution, which sets the stage for a new paradigm in constructive conversations. After litigating for 25 years, Pynchon began mediating disputes and learned both sides are part of the problem and the solution.
