Eeeeek! She Told You WHAT ??????? EEEEEEEEEK Twice!!

By Joseph McDaniel, Esq.

ADVERTISEMENTS
So then he told me that he had already filed a bankruptcy before he came to see me.

With a docu-prep, who is forbidden to give legal advice, instead of an Arizona Bankruptcy Lawyer.

Okay, people do funny things sometimes, for any number of reasons.

Then he told me that he hadn't listed a creditor, because he had some reason or another.

That creditor, who he had not listed, was owed close to a hundred thousand dollars. Uncontested.

After I stopped hyperventilating and returned to consciousness, I found myself reciting The Bankruptcy Creed: list all your creditors, and list all your assets, and list major transactions and tell the truth when you testify at your first meeting of creditors, or you may go to jail. I have never had a client who went to jail for bankruptcy fraud, and I don't want you to be the first, even if you do not become my client.

Amend!

or Amen!  Whichever is most appropriate.
