533 F.Supp.2d 798 (2008) United States District Court, N.D. Illinois, Eastern Division. RECYCLED PAPER GREETINGS, INC., Plaintiff, v. Kathy DAVIS, Defendant. No. 08 C 236. Feb. 1, 2008. Background: Publisher of greeting cards sued commercial artist, claiming breach of contract to provide artwork for cards. Publisher sought temporary restraining order (TRO) barring artist from working with competitor. Holdings: The District Court, Elaine E. Bucklo, J., held that: (1) publisher did not show likelihood of prevailing on claim that artist breached joint venture arrangement; (2) there was no trade secret appropriation, either under Illinois Trade Secrets Act (ITSA) or Illinois common law; (3) artist did not breach license agreement by working with competitor;
