Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, an Am Law 200 law firm with a large Intellectual Property law practice, is actively seeking an Electrical patent associate or patent agent with experience writing patent applications for its office located in Alexandria, Virginia. Candidates should have superior academic credentials and 3+ years of experience in drafting patent applications. Candidates must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and admitted in Virginia. Ideal candidates will have a degree in electrical engineering or its equivalent and possess excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, military background and/or security clearance preferred.
