A lawsuit has been filed against the Chicago Transit Authority by a local mother who claims her daughter’s stroller was caught in a train’s door and then dragged down the platform. The woman claims the stroller was suddenly “pinned perilously in the doorway” as she was trying to board the train. The girl was flung from the stroller and down onto the track, suffering injuries, the suit claims. The mother is seeking unspecified damages.
